SOFIC 2015 Zero Point Pays Tribute to Admiral Draper L. Kauffman

Bringing the battlefield to life in a 3-D display, Zero Point was on site at SOFIC as an exhibitor, introducing some of the company’s most recent developments in EOD equipment and technology including the TiTAN Disruptor System. The set for Zero Point’s 20’ X 30’ display provided three days of engaging activities for event attendees including a corn hole tournament, raffle drawings, and giveaways. The company teamed up with Kopis Mobile, a tactical app developer to raise donations for charitable Special Operations foundations dedicated to supporting the families of wounded and fallen personnel.

Over the course of the event, Zero Point raised an impressive $10,000 in donations from participants. $5,000 was donated to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, a non-profit whose contributions are used to provide scholarships and counseling to the surviving children of fallen Special Operators. Zero Point also donated $5,000 to the EOD Warrior Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports the EOD’s wounded veterans, active-duty, and the families of both wounded and fallen EOD warriors.

In honor of Admiral Draper L. Kauffman, Zero Point’s exhibition theme for 2015 was a WWII-era tribute to “America’s First Twin Pin”. Zero Point recreated a battlefield camp site complete with sandbags, EOD equipment, simulated explosives, and a lifelike operator in full loadout. At SOFIC, the company unveiled its refurbished UNIMOG with retro pin-up girl ‘Suzabelle’, creating eye-catching backdrop for the company’s booth as attendees were greeted by CEO Perry Sasnett and the Zero Point team.
